In Germany Culimeta is represented by two sites: With over 60 employees at the main plant in Bersenbrück and at the branch in Moelln, we now have a command of the basic technologies and the handling processes which are absolutely essential for developing and manufacturing high quality textile glass products. Glass filament yarns are purchased from leading manufacturers all over the world and are processed into threads and textured yarns before reaching our customers or being used in our plants, for example the fabrication of gaskets and insulating sleevings. Even in this specialised area our company is one of the dominant suppliers in Europe. Due to modern bonding techniques, an array of technical textiles, non-woven fabrics and foils can be laminated three-dimensionally with up to five different layers.

Benelux - A fast growing market in the centre of Europe

Innovative and patented industrial textiles for fire-, acoustic noise and personal protection
Since the beginning of January 2005 Culimeta-Saveguard Ltd. which resulted from the British companies Saveguard UK Ltd. and FireHalt UK Ltd. in co-operation with Cuylits Holding GmbH is a part of the Culimeta industrial group. In Dukinfield (Manchester) high temperature resistant textile products as well as acoustic and thermal insulating materials are manufactured, which mainly serve in fire and personal protection and on exhaust-gas systems. The range of products includes flexible fire protection products (FireHalt®), sound absorber insulating material (AcoustaFilTM) as well as flue gas pipe insulating materials (Thermolastic). In addition a large variety of products made of aramid, ceramics, carbon, glass, pre-ox and PFR Rayon used for industrial applications are part of our product range - for example.
With the partially patented products and production procedures the company succeeded in combining specific characteristics such as temperature-, abrasion- and cut resistance as well as thermal and acoustic insulating properties in a unique way. This creates a lot of new possibilities for the customers.
