Plied yarns
The Production
Our twisting mill is laid out for production of 2-ply to 10-ply yarns based on any available textile glass yarns ( E-glass, S2-glass). The production is controlled as per international quality criteria standards. As per customer's request, the twisting of other materials such as Aramid, steel, among others, with textile glass yarns is possible. Twisting up to 520 tpm as well as yarn coating with , for instance, PTFE are available. The manufacturing methods are:
Direct cabling method
During the direct cabling phase the raw yarn is wound around by a balloon thread. The process is laid out for 2-ply yarns. Twisting up to 520 tpm is possible. The standard delivery make up is on bicones with 10 kg with tie on tail.
Ring twisting method
In the first process phase of the classical ring twisting method the raw yarn is twisted up in Z - direction. The single raw yarns are twisted out in S-direction in the second process level, the cabling phase. Twisting up to 340 tpm is possible as well as tie on tail style is available. Standard delivery is either bottle bobbin with 5kg or 8kg.
